One of the BEST things you can do for yourself if you are suffering from scabies is to buy sulfur soap for yourself NOW. There many varieties available, including this two-pack of bar soap from Amazon. Sulfur (also spelled sulphur) kills adult scabies mites almost immediately, providing you with fast results. However, it is important to note that apparently it does NOT kill babies or eggs. This means you absolutely need to use it in conjunction with other treatments. I recommend a combination of sulfur soap, neem oil, and a lotion mixed with diamotaceous earth to fully eradicate scabies after you use at least one application of permethrin. I don’t believe using conventional treatments or natural treatments alone will help you. It’s important to combine the best of both worlds as well as treat your home environment in order to finally get rid of scabies and get peace of mind.
How to use sulfur soap as a scabies treatment
Sulfur soap can be used like any other bar soap. It’s best to lather up your entire body and let the soap sit for as long as possible, at least a few minutes. Some sulfur soaps, such as this one, contain lavender or other essential oils that will give your skin relief from scabies treatments. Do this at least once daily, but ideally twice. I bought a two-pack of soap and used an entire bar, and almost the entire second one. The goal is to soothe your skin while killing the scabies mites. Be sure to be consistent with your applications.
When I had scabies, I felt I was slowly losing my mind from the constant itching and lack of sleep. I was afraid to even hug my friends for fear of spreading it to other people. Searching online for information was difficult and yielded wildly differing ideas on the best way to treat scabies. I stumbled upon Naturasil, a company that makes natural, safe remedies for a huge variety of health issues, including scabies! I was relieved that there was somebody out there who could help me treat my scabies without dumping a bunch of chemicals all over my body and my bedroom.
Naturasil offers individual treatment options as well as a starter pack, a super pack, as well as many other products that are beneficial in eradicating scabies. I personally used their sulfur soap, bite & itch relief, and bath soak when I had scabies years ago. Now they offer an even greater variety of products to help you with getting rid of scabies quickly and safely. You can check out the natural scabies treatments they offer here.
Bonus: Sulfur soap is great for healing many skin conditions beyond scabies, including tinea versicolor, itchiness from bug bites, and acne. It’s great to keep around the house just in case you ever need it again – I actually did! Keep in mind it’s best to buy multiple bars so you can continue your treatment for several weeks and help prevent any re-infestation. You can use leftover sulfur soap for dandruff, rashes, bug bites, and more.
